Identifying Your Earwax Guard System

Identifying what earwax guards your hearing aids are compatible with

The following Audicus hearing aid models are compatible with two types of receiver wires:

Omni (Series 1 & Series 2) - Battery or Rechargeable
Spirit (Series 1 & Series 2) - Battery or Rechargeable
Wave - Battery or Rechargeable

Each receiver wire is compatible with only one specific earwax guard system.

Identifying your receiver wire:

To identify what earwax guards will work for your hearing aid you must first identify what type of receiver wire you have.

The receiver wire is the wire that connects your hearing aid to your speaker. The dome sits on top of the speaker:

To identify the type of receiver wire you have, gently remove the dome from the speaker and check if there is a white line at the end of the text that is written on the speaker:

If there is no white line present, your receiver wire is compatible with the SDS 4 earwax guard.

If a white line is present, your receiver wire is compatible with the SDS 5 earwax guard.
