Audicus knows that hearing aids can be pricey, so we've compiled and created several ways of paying for hearing aids. Check out our easy payment plan below!

Hearing aids are small, efficient, and very advanced pieces of technology--meaning they often don't come cheap. Price is one of the biggest deterrents for people who need hearing aids but are reluctant to get them. However, there is flexibility in paying for hearing aids if you are struggling with the cost. Keep reading to find out more!

Paying for Hearing Aids: Are They Covered by Medicare?

One of the most common questions that hearing aid users ask is "Does Medicare or Medicaid cover hearing aids?" Unfortunately, hearing aids are not covered by either program at the current time. Hearing aids are considered elective care (meaning that are not absolutely necessary to live) and therefore are not covered by federal health insurance. However, some private insurance companies do cover part of the cost of hearing aids. If you have private insurance, such as Cigna or Aetna, make sure to contact your provider and ask if they cover any part of hearing aid costs. There are also many states that require health insurance plans in that state pay for children's hearing aids, and a few states that extend that mandate to adult's hearing aids. The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association has a full rundown of what states cover hearing aids and for whom.

Paying for Hearing Aids with a Payment Plan

Audicus' mission has always been to create incredibly functional and affordable hearing aids. However, Audicus recognizes that hearing aids can still be pricey for many customers, and has created a payment plan for those who need it. The Audicus payment plan is an incredibly easy process and can be customized to work best for your needs.
Step 1: At checkout, after you've selected your hearing aids, provide your basic information for instant approval
Step 2: Choose a regular monthly payment plan from 3, 6, or 12 months (APR% between 10-30%, typical for hearing aids)
Step 3: Pay your monthly bill with your debit card, check, or bank transfer
Your hearing aids will arrive in the mail within 7-10 days of order, and you can enjoy them while you pay them off in increments. Have any questions? Audicus' friendly and dedicated customer service representatives are here to help every step of the way. First, take a look at the FAQs to see if your questions is answered there.
